Biker's Loops

This is not a complete list of biking loops, but these are some favorites for the area. Before you take off, look over a map yourself, no one is perfect & I don't want any of you getting out in the boonies and have no clue where you are. Depending on what type bike you ride, you may need to modify the trip. These loops are for bikers and bicycles alike. Take care out there and have FUN! The loops are not named, so ride them & give them a name.

Loop 1:

1. From cabin, travel West on Highway 74 to Ponca.
2. From Ponca, take Highway 43 North through Compton, to ___
3. From Capps, travel West on Highway 392. You will come to a divided section of Highway 412. Travel West on Highway 412 through Carrollton to Osage (approx. 14 miles).
4. From Osage, take Highway 103 South to rejoin Highway 43 (approx. 12 miles).
5. Travel South on Highway 43 to Ponca.
6. From Ponca, take Highway 74 East back to cabin.

Loop 2:

1. From cabin, travel West on Highway 74 to Ponca.
2. From Ponca, travel North on Highway 43 until it joins Highway 103.
3. Travel North on Highway 103 approximately 12 miles to Osage.
4. From Osage, take Highway 412 West through Dryfork, until it joins Highway 21 (approx. 10 miles).
5. Travel South on Highway 21 through Kingston to Boxley (approx. 17 miles).
6. From Boxley, take Highway 74 East back to cabin.

Loop 3:

1. From cabin, travel West on Highway 74 to Boxley (approx. 5 miles).
2. From Boxley, take Highway 21 North to Kingston. (approx. 10 miles).
3. From Kingston, travel West on Highway 74 to until it joins Highway 23 (approx. 14 miles).
4. Travel North on Highway 23 through Huntsville (approx. 5 miles) and through Forum (approx. 10 miles), and continue North on 23 until it joins Highway 62 (approx. 20 miles).
5. Travel East on Highway 62 to Berryville (approx. 12 miles).
6. Continue East on Highway 62 through Green Forest (approx. 8 miles) until it 62 joins Highway 412.
7. Travel East on Highway 412 approximately 3 miles until it joins Highway 392.
8. Take Highway 392 East through Batavia (approx. 3 miles) to Capps (approx. 3 miles).
9. From Capps,
10. Travel South on Highway 43 through Compton to Ponca.
11. Take Highway 74 East back to cabin.

Loop 4:

1. From cabin, take Highway 74 West to Boxley.
2. From Boxley, travel South on Highway 21 approximately 20 miles to Fallsville.
3. From Fallsville, take Highway 16 West through Boston (approx 16 miles), Pettigrew (approx. 3 miles), and Dutton (approx. 3 miles).
4. Continue West on Highway 16 until it joins Highway 23 (approx. 4 miles from Dutton).
5. Travel North on Highway 23 approximately nine miles to Witter.
6. Continue North on Highway 23 through Aurora (approximately 4 miles) until it joins Highway 74 (approx. 3 miles).
7. Take Highway 74 East approximately 14 miles to Kingston.
8. From Kingston, travel South on Highway 21 to Boxley (approx. 10 miles).
9. From Boxley, take Highway 43 to Ponca, then turn right onto Hwy 74 East back to cabin.

Loop 5:

1. From cabin, take Highway 74 East to Mount Sherman.
2. Continue East on 74 to Jasper. (approx. 5 miles)
3. From Jasper, take Highway 7 south to Deer. (approx. 17 miles) This will take you past Scenic Point, a beautiful lookout over the mountains.
4. From Deer, travel West on Highway 16 through Nail to Swain. (approx. 10 miles)
5. From Swain, continue to travel West about one mile, then take Highway 21 North to Boxley. (approx. 11 miles)
6. From Boxley, take Highway 43 to Ponca, then turn right onto Hwy 74 East back to cabin.

Loop 6:

Loop 7:

1. From cabin, take Highway 74 East to Mount Sherman.
2. Continue East on 74 to Jasper. (approx. 5 miles)
3. From Jasper, take Highway 7 south to Cowell. (approx. 18 miles) This will take you past Scenic Point, a beautiful lookout over the mountains.
4. Continue South on Highway 7 to Lurton. (approx. 8 miles)
5. From Lurton, travel South on Highway 123 past Pelsor (approx 4 miles) to Hagarville (approx. 28 miles)
6. From Hagarville, continue South on Highway 123 to Lamar (approx. 8 miles)
7. From Lamar, take Highway 64 West to Clarksville (approx. 3 miles)
8. From Clarksville, travel North on Highway 103 to Harmony. (approx. 9 miles)
9. From Harmony, travel West on Highway 164 approximately 7 miles to Hunt.
10. Continue on Highway 164 approximately one mile, then take Highway 352 West approximately 12 miles until it joins Highway 23.
11. Travel North on Highway 23 to Cass (approx. 12 miles)
12. Continue North on Highway 23 to St. Paul. (approx. 13 miles)
13. Approximately two miles past St. Paul, Highway 23 joins Highway 16.
14. Travel East on Highway 16 to Fallsville. (approx. 26 miles)
15. From Fallsville, take Highway 21 North to Boxley (approx. 20 miles)
16. From Boxley, take Highway 43 to Ponca, then turn right onto Hwy 74 East back to cabin.

Loop 8:

1. From cabin, take Highway 74 West to Boxley.
2. From Boxley, travel South on Highway 21 approximately 20 miles to Fallsville.
3. From Fallsville, continue South on Highway 21 approximately 24 miles to Ludwig.
4. Travel East on Highway 292 approximately 4 miles until it meets Highway 123.
5. Travel South on Highway 123 approximately 5 miles to Lamar.
6. From Lamar, take Highway 64 West to Clarksville (approx. 3 miles)
7. From Clarksville, travel North on Highway 103 to Harmony. (approx. 9 miles)
8. From Harmony, travel West on Highway 164 approximately 7 miles to Hunt.
9. Continue on Highway 164 approximately one mile, then take Highway 352 West approximately 12 miles until it joins Highway 23.
10. Travel North on Highway 23 to Cass (approx. 12 miles)
11. Continue North on Highway 23 to St. Paul. (approx. 13 miles)
12. From St. Paul, continue North on Highway 23 through Aurora (approx. 15 miles) until Highway 23 meets Highway 74 (3 miles past Aurora).
13. Travel East on Highway 74 approximately 14 miles to Kingston.
14. From Kingston, take Highway 21 South to Boxley. (10 miles)
15. From Boxley, take Highway 43 to Ponca, then turn right onto Hwy 74 East back to cabin.

Pig Trail

1. From Cabin take Highway 74 West to Junction of 43, take 43 to Ponca
2. Travel North on 43 to the Junction of Hwy 103. Continue on 103 thru Rudd
3. Take Hwy 62 West into Berryville, continue on 62, until you reach the HWY 23 junction in Eureka. (There is a cool Harley Shop in Eureka)
4. Take Highway 23 South Cass, 12 miles south of Cass you will take HWY 352 East. Continue on 352 to Clarksville.
5. Take HWY 64 (352, may turn into 64) Once in Clarksville, take HWY 21 North to Ozone.
6. From Ozone, travel North on Highway 21 to Fallsville. (approx. 28 miles)
7. From Fallsville, continue North on Highway 21 to Boxley (approx. 20 miles)
8. From Boxley, take Highway 43 to Ponca, then turn right onto Hwy 74 East back to cabin.

Siloam Route

1. From Cabin take Highway 74 West to Ponca.
2. Highway 43 North until it joins Highway 103. (approx. 5 miles)
3. Highway 103 North to Osage. (12 miles)
4. Highway 412 West to Hindsville*. (approx. 30 miles) Go through Dryfork, Marble, and Old Alabam.
5. Highway 412 West to Springdale. (approx. 16 miles)
6. Highway 412 West to Siloam Springs. (approx. 30 miles)
7. U.S. Highway 59 South to Westville*. (approx. 15 miles) In Oklahoma
8. Highway 62 East to Farmington*. (approx. 24 miles) *Go through Summers, Lincoln, Prairie Grove (& Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park)
9. Highway 16 East to Elkins. (approx. 12 miles)
10. Highway 16 East to St. Paul*. (approx. 20 miles) Go through Durham, Crosses, and Delaney.
11. Highway 16 East to Fallsville*. (approx. 28 miles) Go through Dutton, Pettigrew, and Boston.
12. Highway 21 North to Boxley. (approx. 20 miles)
13. From Boxley, take Highway 43 to Ponca, then turn right onto Hwy 74 East back to cabin.
